Important notes
An organization may apply for more than one initiative as the primary recipient or a sub-contractor but can only be awarded once. For more details see FAQ "Can I apply for more than one project?"
Applications are welcomed from both new and past recipients, with preference given to new or first-time applicants. Organizations currently receiving funding from this program are not eligible.
Funds are provided on a reimbursement basis, meaning your organization pays for the project costs up front and then requests reimbursement through a payment request process. Reimbursement can be requested on a monthly or quarterly basis. All applicants are encouraged to read the Grants Guidelines in advance to understand the process and requirements of funding.
Investment, infrastructure, and equipment (capital goods) expenses exceeding USD $5,000 will not be funded by EIC.
The budget must include travel expenses to attend the 2 Summits (in-person events) to be held in Panama (2026), and El Salvador (November 2026).
